Emma Jean (she/her) is a New York based actor, singer, artist, and award winning writer. Originally from South Carolina she is a proud 2nd gen. descendant of Swiss immigrants and a lover of the world around her and all its inhabitants.

Once called a "janky set of keys" by an acting teacher, Emma is confidently the lovable, smart, oddball that rises to the occasion found in most shows, musicals, and films across all genres today. Think: Yellowjackets, Hacks, Abbott Elementary, Umbrella Academy, Euphoria, Ozark, and Stranger Things found on your screen. On stage think Jenna in Waitress, Amalia in She Loves Me and or all things Fun Home, Kimberly Akimbo, and Next to Normal. Emma is passionate about telling stories that make the unseen seen. She can't wait to be a part of new and exciting work or breathing life into familiar stories and characters.

When she isn’t working, Emma can often be found in nature or traveling while accompanied by a good book (The Ten Thousand Doors of January is her current favorite). Wherever she goes her miniature schnauzer puppy, Murphy, isn't far behind. Emma wouldn't have it any other way! Mentioning The X Files or Killing Eve is the quickest way to Emma's heart and she'd LOVE to chat about Project Hail Mary while making you one of her Oma's famous Swiss dishes. Come on over and sit awhile!
